Yemeni Rights Network Documents 143 Houthi Abuses in 2 Weeks
The Yemeni Network for Rights and Freedoms revealed on Sunday that the Iran-backed Houthi militias have committed 143 abuses against civilians during the last two weeks of April
In an official report, the Network documented the killing of 28 civilians, including 4 women and 6 children, in different parts of the country by Houthi militias in the period spanning from April 16-30
The report said that the Houthis pounded residential areas in the governorates of Marib, Hodeidah, Dhale and Taiz with Hauser cannons, Katyusha missiles and mortar rockets
Six of the victims were shot dead by Houthi snipers, 6 by the shelling, and 10 by Houthi landmines (mostly women and children), the report found.
