Yemen reports 116 new coronavirus cases and 36 deaths, highest daily rise so far
Yemen on Monday, recorded the largest number cases of the Covid-19 since the outbreak of the pandemic began last April.
Yemen on Monday, reported 116 new coronavirus cases, with 36 deaths, raising the total number of infections to 844 and total fatalities to 208, with 79 recoveries, the emergency coronavirus committee of Yemen government said on Twitter
The committee reported 73 cases in Hadhramout with 32 deaths, and 24 cases in Shabwa with two deaths, in addition to 5 cases in Aden.
It said that Taiz reported three cases with two deaths, and 3 cases in Lahj, 7 in Abyan, while Al Dalea reported one case.
The committee reported 26 recovered cases in three provinces: 16 in Shabwa, 8 in Hadhramout and 2 in Abyan.
