Houthi shells destroy homes in Hodeidah, two people killed, others injured

Two citizens were killed and others were wounded on Saturday, by artillery shelling by the Iran-backed Houthi militia, on the villages of Al-Durayhimi district, south of Hodeidah, in the context of the continuing escalation of their violations of the ceasefire.

Identical local and medical sources in the Al-Durayhimi district said that the Houthi militia targeted, this morning, the homes of citizens and the health center in the village of Al-Shujira, with mortar shells, two citizens of one family were killed and their house was completely destroyed.

The sources added that Houthi militia shells also targeted the homes of citizens in the village of Al-Hadd of the same directorate, with several shells, one of which completely destroyed the house of the citizen Ahmed Makeen.

The attacks launched by the Houthi militia during the first days of the current month of October left more than 50 civilians dead and others injured, according to medical sources.
