Arab Coalition in Yemen seizes truck smuggling cocaine, heroin into Houthi territory

The Arab Coalition engaged in Yemen on Tuesday seized a truck that was smuggling half a ton of cocaine and heroin into territory that belongs to the Iran-backed Houthi militia, Al Arabiya reported.

The truck was stopped by coalition forces in Aden at a checkpoint, according to the report.

The drugs, which were hidden among dozens of containers carrying sugar, was reportedly brought it from Brazil.

Sources confirmed to Al Arabiya that the drugs were on their way to Houthi territory and was under the supervision of Lebanon’s Hezbollah.
