Soleimani batch graduated from the newly created "Persian Language Department" at Sanaa University
The Houthi militia continues to dredge up the Yemeni identity and the Houthization of society, starting with the destruction of the educational process and the distortion of the curricula, which establishes the militias' right to rule and power in the minds of Yemeni generations, and in line with the objectives of the Iranian project in Yemen.
Sana'a University witnessed on Thursday, the graduation ceremony of the first batch of the Persian language department, newly created by the Houthis, which was named after the Iranian terrorist, Qassem Soleimani.
Academics indicated that this comes within the framework of sectarianization, the dredging up of national identity and the establishment of Iranian culture, and reveals once again the Houthi group's dependence on Tehran's agendas and transforming Sana'a with its society, universities, institutions into a copy of Iranian cities.
The establishing of the Persian Department at the university date back to mid-2016, when an Iranian leader named Mortada Abdeen, who was residing at the time in Sanaa, supervised the establishment of the new department for teaching the Persian language at Sana'a University, as part of the Iranian transgression project in Yemen, by exploiting the control of Houthi militia.
Parallel to this, the Houthi militia have approved the suspension of studies in: French, Literature, Arabic, History, Geography, Philosophy, Archeology, Tourism, and Information Science Departments.
