Masam Project Dismantles 2,943 Houthi Mines within a Week in Yemen

King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Project  (Masam) for clearing mines in Yemen, dismantled, during the fourth week  of May 2022, a total of 2,943 mines planted by the Houthi militia across  Yemen, including 159 anti-personnel mines, 325 anti-tank mines, 2,447  unexploded ordnance and 12 explosive devices.

Since the beginning of the project, as many as 342,374 mines have been dismantled.

The  Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, seeks through the  project to clear Yemeni lands of the mines that were randomly planted by  the Houthi militia causing death and injury of innocent children,  women, and the elderly.
