Iran-backed Houthis deny dozens of trucks loaded with goods from entering their areas of control
The Iran-backed Houthis continue to retain dozens of trucks loaded with goods and basic commodities in the areas of Al-Rahida in Taiz Governorate, and Afar in Al-Baydha Governorate.
Economic sources confirmed that the Houthis have been continuing, for about a month, to hold goods coming from the port of Aden on their way to the governorates under their control.
According to the sources, the trucks are loaded with various goods, including flour and raw materials for the factories of a number of companies, led by the Thabet and Hayl Saeed Group of Companies.
The Yemeni government for its part, called on the international community to intervene and put pressure on the Houthis to stop their violations against the commercial sector and the movement of foodstuffs.
