Masam Project Dismantles 856 Houthi Mines in a week in Yemen
King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Project (Masam) for clearing mines in Yemen, dismantled, last week, a total of 856 mines planted by the Houthi militia across Yemen, including 71 anti-tanks and 780 unexploded ordnance.
From the beginning of this month until the 21st of July, the field teams affiliated with the project were able to clear 1,881 unexploded ordnance and 295 anti-tank mines, while the rest of the proceeds were distributed between anti-personnel mines and explosive devices.
Since the beginning of the project, as many as 408.008 mines have been dismantled.
