Houthi leader killed in clashes with government forces in Marib

A Houthi leader along with two members, was killed and a fourth was injured in clashes with government forces on a southern front in Marib province (northeastern Yemen).

A tribal source in Marib told Khabar Agency that the Houthi leader, Naji Dhiab Allah Hussein Al-Amir, was killed along with two militia members, while a fourth was injured in fierce clashes that erupted with the army and resistance forces on Al-Jubah front in southern Marib.

The source also said that the clashes took place with support from the army unmanned aerial vehicles.

This comes a day after hearing consecutive explosions from the bottom of the Habab Valley, west of the Sirwah directorate, believed to be weapons and ammunition depots belonging to the Houthis.
