Iran-backed Houthis impose a blockade on a village in Dhamar for the fourth consecutive day
The Iran-backed Houthis have imposed a suffocating blockade for the fourth consecutive day on a village in the Al-Hadda district, northeast of Dhamar province, south of Sanaa, following the killing of a Houthi leader.
Local sources said that the militias launched a military campaign with more than 30 vehicles, carrying dozens of armed Houthi elements, on the village of Al-Rakbeen Beni Dhabian in Al-Hadda district, after the killing of the Houthi leader Naaman Wasil, in a revenge case.
The sources added that the Houthis have arrested more than 20 citizens from the Beni Dhabian tribe, including elderly individuals, amidst ongoing road closures for citizens and continuous inspection campaigns by the militia.
The Houthi leader, Naaman Mohsen Amer Wasil, was killed by an armed tribesman in the city of Zarajah in the center of Al-Hadda district, in a previous tribal revenge case.
