The victim, identified as Walid Al-Shami, was found deceased in a residential neighborhood in the Jabal Rabie area of Al-Thahar district in Ibb city. The circumstances and motives behind the shooting remain unclear.
Al-Shami was employed as a building security guard in Jabal Rabie. Reports indicate he had no known disputes with colleagues or relatives, further deepening the mystery surrounding his death.
His killing brings the total number of casualties, including the dead and injured, in the governorate's districts to 10 individuals over the past five days. This surge in violence is attributed to the escalating lawlessness and a daily increase in crime, murder, and looting incidents across the region.
