Two Civilians Injured in Houthi Shelling of Homes South of Hodeidah

Two civilians sustained injuries early Friday when Houthi militia forces shelled residential homes in the village of Al-Nafsah Al-Sufla, Hays district, south of Hodeidah Governorate in western Yemen.

Local sources reported that the shelling resulted in injuries to citizen Najwa Salem and citizen Abdulrahman Ahmed Jabili, who suffered shrapnel wounds across their bodies after projectiles struck civilian residences within the village.

The sources added that the shelling also caused material damage to property, including the death of several livestock. Medical teams promptly responded to provide emergency care to the injured, transporting them to a field hospital for necessary treatment.

This attack is part of a series of assaults carried out by Houthi militia forces against villages and residential areas situated along front lines in several Yemeni governorates, exacerbating civilian suffering and leading to recurrent human and material losses.
