Five Houthi Militants Killed in Airstrike on Al-Dhale Governorate
A precision drone strike conducted by the armed forces has resulted in the deaths of five Houthi militants and left several others wounded following a targeted attack on a command meeting in the city of Damt, located in Al-Dhale Governorate.
According to a military source cited by the Armed Forces Media Center, the operation specifically targeted a gathering of Houthi fighters positioned within the Al-Firdous building at the southern entrance of the city. The strike successfully neutralized the assembly, causing significant casualties among the insurgent ranks.
The military source further confirmed that the airstrike resulted in the destruction of an ammunition depot housed within the facility. The subsequent detonation of the stored ordnance ignited a substantial fire at the site, which continued to burn following the initial impact.
This operation is part of an ongoing series of tactical engagements carried out by government forces against Houthi positions and gatherings across various frontlines in Al-Dhale. The region remains a focal point of persistent military tension and intermittent armed confrontations.
