Houthi Militia Constructs New Fortifications and Trenches in Lahj and Al-Dhale

The Houthi militia has initiated the construction of new trenches and military fortifications along front lines in the Lahj and Al-Dhale governorates, signaling a rise in regional tensions and ongoing tactical mobilization near government-controlled positions.

Field sources confirmed that Houthi militants have commenced digging trenches and establishing fortified positions in the Shukan and Baher mountains, situated near the Qarin al-Musaymir front in Lahj. Concurrent operations have been observed in the Torsa area of the Al-Azariq district in Al-Dhale, where the militia is actively reinforcing its defensive posture.

These fortification efforts are reportedly accompanied by the movement of Houthi personnel and military hardware across both fronts. Analysts suggest that these measures are intended to bolster defensive capabilities, providing protection for combatants and equipment against potential aerial strikes and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) operations.
