Military media affiliated with the National Resistance reported on Tuesday that a technical inspection of a seized shipment in the Red Sea has uncovered specialized components designed to operate and guide remote-controlled explosive-laden boats, alongside parts intended for tactical drone manufacturing.

The report stated that the shipment, originating from the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps and bound for Houthi forces, contained sophisticated electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems. Technical analysis identified live-feed monitors, data links, and hydraulic pumps specifically engineered to control boat engines and enhance their maneuverability.

According to military officials, these components facilitate the transmission of remote commands and data to vessel control systems. This capability allows for the precise guidance of unmanned boats, which the group intends to utilize in offensive operations against commercial vessels and coastal infrastructure.

The discovery underscores a significant advancement in the technical capabilities acquired by the Houthi militia for maritime operations. The seizure follows an announcement by the Resistance Navy earlier this week regarding the successful interception of a new cache of military contraband being smuggled from Iran to the Houthi militia.
