Female Physician Assaulted by Armed Men Affiliated with 170th Brigade in Taiz

A female physician was subjected to a violent physical assault and verbal abuse by armed men affiliated with the 170th Brigade in the center of Taiz city on Monday.

According to local sources, the incident occurred near the Electricity Roundabout, in the vicinity of the Cleaning and Improvement Fund. The attackers reportedly struck the physician repeatedly, resulting in significant facial injuries, including a periorbital hematoma and severe swelling around the eye.

The assault took place within the jurisdiction of the Asifira police station. Following the attack, the victim was transported to Al-Thawra Hospital to receive urgent medical treatment for her injuries.
