The Houthi militia bombed today morning, the May 22 hospital, in Hodeida city, west of Yemen, with heavy weapons, in continuation of its crimes and subversive acts in a grave violation of international norms and laws that criminalise targeting of civilian installations during a war

Confirmed sources in the city said the rebels tanks opened fire with heavy machine guns in its direction, inflicting substantial damage to the main civilian Hospital

The sources confirmed that Houthis directly targeted the Hospital

Two days ago, the Iran-aligned Houthi militia bombed the 22 May School at Al Jah area in the Bayt al-Faqih District of Hoedidah Governorate, in revenge of the civilians, who are totally rejecting their scorched earth policy

Last week, before the removal of the Houthi rebel fighters from the main hospital, Amnesty said that the rebels had taken up positions on the roof of the May 22 hospital

The human rights group warned that the Houthis use of the hospital for military purposes was a violation of international law

This is the second crime of its kind carried out by the Houthis in Hodeidah in less than 72 hours, as the Iran-backed Houthi militia has set fire to the "Ikhwan Thabet" Group Factories in Hodeidah on Friday morning and caused extensive damage in the entire facility

Last week, Houthis blew up the building of Abdu Al-Nabi, the highest building in the city of Hodeidah, reduced it to rubble

The Iran-backed Houthi militia during the Two last weeks, planted large quantities of landmines on the main roads inside the city, and booby-trapped Yemeni homes and government buildings in continuation of its crimes and subversive acts in a grave violation of international norms and laws that criminalise targeting of civilian installations during a war

Engineering teams of the Yemeni resistance forces are continuing their significant efforts to clear and remove mines planted by the Houthi militia on public roads and civilian facilities in order to protect innocent lives

Houthi's criminal militia has continued subversive activities, followed the scorched earth policy and destroyed the capabilities of the Yemenis following their successive defeats in Hodeidah. These acts are desperate attempts by its ranks to undermine the progress of the Yemeni Resistance Forces, which now control strategic parts of the city

Hodeidah is on the boil because of the terrorist practices of the Houthi and for targeting innocent civilians and infrastructure in the city

The criminal practices have been rejected by the population in Hodeidah and there is a threat of a popular uprising against the militia, which could see an increase in the frequency of Houthi violations against the people
