Yemeni Marines Intercept Vessel Smuggling Weapons to Houthis in Red Sea

Naval forces of the Yemeni Nationa Resistance have intercepted a vessel allegedly smuggling weapons to Houthi forces in the Red Sea.

The seizure occurred near the international shipping corridor, according to the official X account of the resistance forces.

The 1st Marine Division, supported by military intelligence, carried out the operation after receiving prior intelligence information about the vessel.

A patrol team boarded the ship and escorted it to a secure location for inspection.

The inspection uncovered anti-tank munitions, RPG launchers, sniper rifles, and a large quantity of machine gun belts packed in bags.

The crew was detained, and an investigation is underway to determine the origin and intended destination of the weapons.
